Jewellery is not just restricted to women. Men from time immemorial had worn jewellery sometimes for fashion, and sometimes as a part of the rule of the land. Even in some of the earliest of civilisations like the Indus Valley Civilisation and Greek Civilisation, the expert archaeologists have dug out some handicraft findings that included jewellery worn by women as well as those worn by men.
